Discover the best of Costa Rica on this 7-day, 6-night adventure linking the country's most celebrated volcanoes and forests. Starting in San José, you'll explore high-altitude coffee plantations and the Poás Volcano, one of the largest volcanic craters in the world, before drifting down the Sarapiquí River in search of wildlife. The trip continues to La Fortuna for an Arenal Volcano National Park tour and a relaxing soak in the natural hot springs, then crosses Lake Arenal by boat to the misty cloud forests of Monteverde.
In Monteverde you'll walk hanging bridges high in the canopy and join a nighttime tour to spot nocturnal wildlife, before returning to San José for a closing dinner and your onward departure. Accommodation with breakfast, air-conditioned transport, entrance fees and bilingual local guides are all included throughout.
